Welcome to the official website of the Nigeria–UK Agricultural Conference (“the Conference”), operated by Bluebrain Services Ltd, herein referred to as “the Organiser,” “we,” “our,” or “us.”

By accessing or using this website (the “Site”) or registering for the Conference, you (“User,” “Participant,” or “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including any additional policies or guidelines referenced herein.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of this Site immediately.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Your access to and use of this Site constitutes your full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. The Organiser reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Site after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

This Site is intended for individuals aged 18 years and above. By using this Site, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age or have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under applicable law.

3. Event Registration and Participation

  1. Users may register for the Conference through the Site or any approved registration portal.
  2. Registration is deemed complete only upon receipt of full payment and confirmation from the Organiser.
  3. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or revoke registration at its discretion if false, misleading, or incomplete information is provided or if conduct is deemed inappropriate.
  4. The Organiser may modify event details (date, time, venue, speakers, or format) due to unforeseen circumstances. Notice of such changes will be communicated via email or the official website.

4. Payments And Refund Policy

1. All fees for event registration, exhibition, sponsorship, or other services are payable in full at the time of registration, unless otherwise stated.
2. Payments must be made through the official payment channels displayed on the Site.
3. Refunds: Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Organiser within 14 days of payment.
4. Refunds are subject to administrative deductions and approval.
5. No refunds will be made after official registration deadlines or within 30 days of the event.
4. In the event of cancellation or rescheduling by the Organiser, registered participants will be duly informed and provided with available alternatives or refunds in accordance with the Organiser’s policies.

5. User Obligations And Conduct

Users agree to:
• Provide accurate and current information during registration or while using the Site.
• Not use the Site for unlawful, defamatory, or fraudulent purposes.
• Not upload or transmit any viruses, malicious code, or harmful material.
• Refrain from engaging in behavior that disrupts the functioning of the Site or infringes upon the rights of others.

Violation of these obligations may lead to immediate suspension or termination of access.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

1. All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, videos, designs, and software, is the property of the Organiser or its partners and is protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

9. Disclaimer

3.The Organiser reserves the right to alter or discontinue any part of the Site or the Conference at its discretion.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:
1. The Organiser, its affiliates, directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Site or participation in the Conference.
2. Total liability under any claim related to the Site or the Conference shall not exceed the total amount paid by the user to the Organiser for registration or services.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Organiser, its affiliates, staff, and partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising out of your use of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of a third party.

12. Force Majeure

The Organiser shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, pandemics, war, strikes, or governmental restrictions.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.
2. Any dispute arising from these Terms or participation in the Conference shall be resolved amicably; failing which, it shall be submitted to arbitration in Abuja, Nigeria, in accordance with the Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023.
3. The arbitral decision shall be final and binding on all parties.

14. Termination

The Organiser may terminate or suspend access to the Site at any time, without prior notice, if a user is found to have violated these Terms or engaged in any unlawful activity.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Organiser and the User and supersede any prior communications, understandings, or agreements, whether written or oral.
